Calf Fits
We want to make sure our beautiful tall boots give you a snug fit around your leg, so we make many of them in three different calf width fittings. Each fit has a slightly different calf circumference, while the ankle and foot area of the boot remain the same.
The “Narrow fit” are 2-3cm smaller in the circumference of the calf.
The “Regular fit” is made to fit the average calf measurements of our customers.
The “Sporting fit” are 2-3cm larger in the circumference of the calf.

Three fits: Regular, Sporting and Narrow for a shapely fit round your calf
Once you've used them a bit, you can treat your boots with either Suede & Nubuck Protector once a month or Liquiproof Premium Protector every couple of months – more often if you're wearing them a lot.Spray the Suede & Nubuck Protector lightly and sparingly from at least a foot away and leave to prove for an hour. If you're using Liquiproof Premium Protector, apply sparingly section by section, brushing it in with a soft brush until the suede has been covered.Please note we recommend tightening the screw backs on the tassels once you receive your new boots, this will help ensure no lost tassels!
CLEANING RECOMMENDATIONS
Not in the washing machine, please! Remove dried dirt or marked fibres using a soft suede brush, brushing in the direction of the suede. If it’s still dirty, use Liquiproof Eco Cleaner on light marks but dilute it heavily in warm water. If your boots get wet, leave them to dry naturally and brush. If anything else gets onto your boots (like a wine glass accident), soak it up immediately and then wipe over with a lightly damp, neutral-coloured microfibre cloth. Always read the directions of the care product, and test on an inconspicuous area first. Fairfax & Favor cannot be held responsible for improper use of care or cleaning products. MAINTENANCE & STORAGE
Store your beautiful boots away from heat, damp and direct sunlight. For Mid-Calf and Tall Boots, we recommend using Boot Trees to fill out the calf, maintain their original shape and prevent ankle creasing. Where possible, store your boots in their dustbags and blue box, and use a Signature Boot Bag for extra protection when travelling.
Our padded insoles are removable and replaceable to allow for use of your own as well as insole replacement which we generally advise after 6 months of use of your item. This means you can wear and love your item and be confident that, even if your insoles become worse for wear, your item will not. Please note that excess moisture that is retained in your footwear can accelerate the insoles coming loose in your shoe. Please contact our Customer Service team for more information regarding this.
