Chapter 1

THE DESIGN

Originally designed by co-founder, Felix Favor Parker, the Windsor is one of our original founding products. It is crafted from over thirty individual panels, each cut and assembled with precision. Some pieces are laser-cut for accuracy and consistency; others are shaped entirely by hand, where experience matters most. Reinforcements are adjusted individually, ensuring the structure feels considered, never rigid, never left to chance. It’s a design with character. Quietly distinctive, created with intention and integrity, yet in its many forms, across sizes, colours, and textures, there is always a Windsor that finds its place in a wardrobe and remains a styling cornerstone.

Chapter 2

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP

Many of the most important steps cannot be rushed or mechanised. Shaping, bonding, and finishing are carried out entirely by hand. Signature Windsor hardware is applied only by senior craftsmen, where millimetres matter and true mastery shows. The final detail is the tassel, hand-cut, assembled, and finished to bring softness and movement to the bag. A small detail, yet unmistakably Fairfax & Favor. From first cut to final stitch, a single Windsor bag takes almost a full day to complete. Before it leaves the workshop, it is checked repeatedly at every stage, until it meets our exacting standards.

Chapter 3

THE MATERIALS

Every Windsor bag begins with carefully selected leather. Premium hides are chosen for their strength and natural structure, allowing the bag to hold its shape while revealing the beauty of the grain. For suede, we select a finer, softer hide, chosen for its richness of texture, depth of colour, and refined feel. These materials aren’t standard. They are carefully sourced and refined to meet our exact expectations of touch, finish, and longevity. Because leather is a natural material, no two hides are ever the same. Each batch is compared against original gold seal samples, with only the very best selected to move forward.

Chapter 4

THE COMPANION

For some, it becomes a collection. Mini Windsors gathered over time, chosen deliberately, treasured almost like keepsakes. For others, it becomes something quieter but no less meaningful. A daily companion, reached for instinctively. Over time, the leather softens. The tassel moves more freely. The bag gently moulds to the individual who carries it. It reflects movement, touch, and life. Carrying more than just what’s inside; it carries memory.
