Naturally through wear, the wax will gradually come off the fabric. Depending on the usage you will start to notice some fading in areas revealing the original dyed shade of fabric (applying wax darkens the dyed shade). This is due to the wax rubbing against itself and from movement (i.e. at the elbows).

We recommend gently wiping with a soft damp neutral coloured microfibre cloth to remove dried dirt or marked fibres. Allow the Frances to air dry completely before storing or using it again.

MAINTENANCE

Store away from heat, damp, and direct sunlight. Lay flat if possible; otherwise, use a broad hanger instead of the decorative loop to help prevent wrinkles.

If the Frances becomes wet, let it hang dry out of the wardrobe. Once dry, rub over with a light sponge to smooth and level out the pile again.

Coloured suede & leather can transfer with wear onto other fabrics and leave a mark. Likewise, dark coloured fabrics (like denim!) can also transfer onto brighter coloured suede and/ or leathers. This is perfectly normal and won't be covered under our warranty.

CARE

Once you’ve used your Grace a bit, you can treat it with either Suede & Nubuck Protector once a month or Liquiproof Premium Protector every couple of months – more often if you’re using a lot. Spray the Suede & Nubuck Protector lightly and apply sparingly section by section, brushing it in with a soft brush until the suede has been covered.

Always read the directions of the care product, and test on an inconspicuous area first. Fairfax & Favor cannot be held responsible for improper use of care or cleaning products. For any concerns, please contact our Customer Service team.

CLEANING

Not in the washing machine, please!
Remove dried dirt or marked fibres using a soft suede brush, brushing in the direction of the suede. If it’s still dirty, use Liquiproof Eco Cleaner on light marks but dilute it heavily in warm water.

If the Grace becomes wet, leave to dry naturally and brush. If anything else gets onto your Grace, soak it up immediately and then wipe over with a lightly damp, neutral-coloured microfibre cloth.

MAINTENANCE

Store away from heat, damp, and direct sunlight. Where possible, store in their dustbags and the blue box provided for additional protection. Lay flat if possible or keep hung on a broad hanger.

COMPOSITION

This product contains recycled materials. 100% Polymide Shell, 100% Recycled polyester Lining

CARE

Pertex® Quantum fabric unique fabric has enabled Musto to engineer products that ensure maximum comfort during intense activities. It's waterproof construction can withstand heavy downpours, whilst the fabric's weave provides high levels of breathability, ensuring you're dry and comfortable on any adventure. Equipped with PrimaLoft® Thermoplume Cross Core insulation technology, originally designed for the US military, this stylish product will keep you warm but also dry thanks to the Pertex waterproof outer fabric.
For more information on how to care for your Pertex® Quantum fabric please follow the link for Musto product care guide.

CLEANING

To ensure longevity and top performance, make sure you only wash your garments when they really need it. Wash your Musto garments using a non-biological product on a gentle cycle at 30°C or less. Waterproof coat & jacket

COMPOSITION

This product contains recycled materials. 100% Polyester Shell, 100% Recycled polyester Lining

CARE

A high tech lifestyle piece that will keep you warm and dry in style. Part of the Fairfax and Favor luxury edit, this product benefits from a BR2 10k waterproof rating. A layer of top quality PrimaLoft® BLACK Eco insulation protects against bitterly cold temperatures when your feet are firmly on land.

Musto treats the waterproof garments BR2 products, with a durable water repellent (DWR) treatment. This polymer prevents the garment outer fabric from being saturated with water. Wear and tear, salt, dirt or repeated washing can wear off the DWR treatment. Your garment may even appear to be leaking because the waterlogged outer is reducing the jacket’s breathability, creating condensation on the inside. When this happens, or to prevent this from happening, you will need to re-treat your product. We recommend you treat your garment only when the DWR performance begins to lower - it does not have to be after every single wash. You can test the DWR performance by sprinkling water on the fabric. If the water beads up and rolls off, the DWR does not need renewing. Reproofing will avoid you getting an uncomfortable wet out feeling that can rapidly put an end to your day out.

Musto recommends Granger’s Performance Repel or Clothing Wash and Repel to renew the DWR. Please follow the instructions on the re-proofing product.

Waxed cotton

CARE

Protect with: Halley Stevensons Reproofing Spray
Note: Halley Stevensons Dry Wax cotton, cracks, creases and patinas, which is part of its beautiful character. This emulsified wax finish is perfect for lightweight breathable and weather repellent garments. This finish is a combination of their driest wax and soft aero tumbling. This emulsified wax finish is perfect for lightweight breathable and weather repellent garments.

Naturally through wear, the wax will gradually come off the fabric. Depending on the usage you will start to notice some fading in areas revealing the original dyed shade of fabric (applying wax darkens the dyed shade). This is due to the wax rubbing against itself and from movement (i.e. at the elbows).
