CARE
Once you’ve used your Fairfax & Favor Blickling belt a bit, you can treat your belt with either Suede & Nubuck Protector once a month or Liquiproof Premium Protector every couple of months – more often if you're wearing them a lot.
Spray the Suede & Nubuck Protector lightly and sparingly from at least a foot away and leave to prove for an hour.
If you’re using Liquiproof Premium Protector, apply sparingly section by section, brushing it in with a soft brush until the nubuck has been covered.
For the leather areas of your belt, which is a natural material, it needs oil/moisture to keep it soft and supple. To stop it drying out, hardening and cracking, treat it at least once a month with Renapur Leather Balsalm.

Our interchangeable tassels are easily swapped by unscrewing the back of the tassel fastener to separate it from the front shield and removing from the D-ring. Please ensure you screw them on tightly as they can become loose while walking.

We advise to keep away from direct sunlight, damp, heat and keep safe in the box provided, hang it on a hook or place it flat in your wardrobe ensuring nothing is squashing it, which over time would cause it it to misshape. We recommend Hicks & Brown Wool Felt Hat Protector Spray as this provides an additional layer of protection against the elements to our wool felt hats. They are water resistant and therefore fine in a light rain shower. If your hat becomes wet, we advise to shake off excess water and leave to dry slowly indoors. We advise to keep away from direct sunlight, damp, heat and keep safe in the box provided, hang it on a hook or place it flat in your wardrobe ensuring nothing is squashing it, which over time would cause it it to misshape. If you find you are in between hat sizes we recommend putting a Hat Resizer in the inside of the headband, at the back of the hat, to provide a snugger fit. They are also particularly useful for use on a windy day to keep your hat more secure on your head.
