Fairfax & Favor have an exciting opportunity at our store in Stamford, Peterborough, Lincolnshire.

Our second store is looking for a driven, confident and personable individual to help our wonderful customers during their visit have their blue box experience.

We pride ourselves on the impeccable service and experience each of our customers receive when they visit one of our stores. With personal appointments and store events we need a leader to oversee that all runs smoothly in Stamford.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the team at a high standard, achieving company KPI’s, whilst maintaining the highest level of Customer Service
• Responsible for the cashing up and reconciliation at the end of the day
• Managing customer enquiries
• Stock management
• Organisation of perioding events/VIP days to promote the store
• Developing and coaching the Retail Store Team, including motivation using both one to ones and team briefings
• Creating weekly business reports at the request of the Regional Manager
• Prioritising personal and overall store objectives

Personal skills required:

• Over 18 years old
• Strong leadership skills
• IT skills – Microsoft office etc.
• Excellent accuracy organisation skills.
• Ability to work well within a fast-moving environment

Further Information:

• Competitive wage & benefits.
• Hours: Monday to Sunday 09:15 – 17:15 on a rota basis.
• Overtime will be required during busy periods, so flexibly is a must!

Experience:

• Customer-facing experience
• Strong retail management experience – minimum 2 years
• Sound experience of sales of luxury goods
• Team management experience
• Proven commercial success in a retail environment
• Good commercial and numerical skills
• Ability to deal with people from all backgrounds confidently and with respect

Fairfax & Favor are renowned for their impeccable trade stands at all major events, and we are looking for Events Sales Assistants to join our ever-growing, friendly team across the country at multiple events. 

Directors Marcus Fairfax Fountaine and Felix Favor Parker’s love affair with the shows was born in 2013 on a quaint 3x3 meter stand at our local trade show. Over the last few years, Fairfax & Favor have grown from that small 3x3 meter stand in Holkham to an almighty 24 x 6 meter stand at the Game Fair 2023. 

The shows are back, and we are offering an exciting opportunity for you to continue growing and maintaining the high standards our customers come to expect in future trade shows.

Key responsibilities include:
• Offering impeccable Customer Service to our new and loyal customer that attend our stands,
• Assisting the events team in the set up and pack down of the trade stand,
• Ensuring the smooth handling of customer queries, 
• Cash handling, 
• Provide accurate product information to customers.

• Over 18 years old;

• Clean driving license;

Competitive wage ($200/day)

Hours: Seasonal ad hoc work between March – November. Due to the nature of the events calendar, weekend work and frequent overnight stays will be required.
