On Friday 6th September 2019, The Prince’s Trust charity held the ‘Lunch with an Old Bag’ auction of luxury goods at Prestonfield House Hotel in Edinburgh. Happily nestled amongst the Cartier, Louboutin, McQueen, and Valentino, was our very own Loxley Shoulder Bag in tan. The bag went for £550 which contributed towards the total £760,000 raised to help change the lives of more than 760 young people supported by The Prince’s Trust.

The Prince’s Trust, by-line ‘Youth Can Do It’, is a support system for young people in Scotland who desperately need guidance in order to transform the course of their own lives. It helps steer young people in a direction they might otherwise have missed by providing them with both the tools and a platform for positive change. Their core belief, as articulated by their founder James Thomson, is that, “every young person should have a chance to succeed”. An ideology Fairfax & Favor is proud to endorse.

After the auction, The Prince’s Trust Scotland got in touch with us:

“We are absolutely delighted with the result of the auction as it will make a huge difference to our work across the country in the coming year. This success would not have been possible without your generosity so thank you again”
